It has been a while since Mammootty’s upcoming movie Turbo’s shoot was wrapped up. However, the movie is taking longer than the Malayalam superstar’s fans anticipated to reach the theaters. Finally, after a long wait, the movie’s makers have announced its release date, but it is still a few months away.
Mammootty is taking his filmography to the next level. With his last few movies, he has successfully left the audience in awe of his work. After playing a homosexual in Kaathal – The Core, the actor portrayed YS Rajasekhara Reddy in Yatra 2. His last outing, the horror thriller Bramayugam, saw him in a sinister role. Following the legacy he has maintained through the years, the superstar will soon be seen playing a rather dashing role in Turbo.
Turbo marks the second outing of the actor-director duo Mammootty and Vysakh after their successful movie Madhura Raja. The movie’s first look was unveiled months ago and fans praised it. However, they are eager to watch Mmamootty back to an action role in the movie.
Mammootty’s Turbo to release in mid-June?
Turbo is all set to hit the theaters on June 13, 2024. The marks announce the movie’s release date with a brand new poster. Featuring the megastar in a white ensemble, he sat on a vehicle, giving away an intense look. Check out the release date announcement poster here:
Turbo has been facing delays for a while now. The movie was expected to be released in May, but it did not happen. Mammootty wrapped up the movie’s shoot by February 18, and since then, it has been in the post-production phase. Apart from the megastar, Turbo star Kannada actor Raj B Shetty is the lead antagonist. Mammootty Kampany is bankrolling the movie, while Justin Varghese is its music composer. More details about the film are awaited.
