Is there a Monarca Season 3 release date?
There is no Monarca Season 3 release date as Netflix canceled the series after two seasons.
In March 2021, Juan Manuel Bernal, who portrays Joaquin Carranza, confirmed on Instagram that Monarca would not return with a third season. “I am very grateful, moved, and surprised by everything that this news has caused, which I finally believe is already confirmed by the Netflix platform…that the third season of Monarca is canceled, ” he said. “Thank you to all the fans of our series because I have never had so much communication with countries that I didn’t even know existed thanks to our series that wrote to me and are a little upset,” Bernal further stated.
The actor added that he understood the frustration that the audience must be feeling because of this news. “I understand your annoyance, but I am not the right person to whom you should tell your annoyance,” he stated, adding, “I am with you, I am a little upset because it seems to me that the series did not end as it should have ended, we needed to give it an ending, but the decision is not mine, it is not ours, it is the platform’s.”
The cast of Monarca includes Irene Azuela as Ana María Carranza, Osvaldo Benavides as Andrés Carranza, and Juan Manuel Bernal as Joaquín Carranza. It also features Rosa María Bianchi as Cecilia Carranza and Antonio de la Vega as Bernardo.
