As of April 2024, Studio Add and Shin-Ei Animation have not greenlit the second season of The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic. The first season finished airing on March 30, 2024, and anime shows can often go on a long hiatus before returning with new seasons. The original web novel series is currently ongoing. Even though its light novel adaptation has concluded, a sequel series of the light novels (titled The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Returns) debuted in December 2023. So, there is likely enough material for season 2. If the first season turns out to be successful with the audience, The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic can return with another season.
