While some dramas will carry out their weekly journey, new dramas like Shooting Stars, Dr. Spring, Addicted to Love, etc., will premiere this week. The shows will depict a plethora of genres, including romance, history, thriller, and more.
1. Shooting Stars
This period C-drama will premiere on April 15, 2024. The drama will feature Li Xian, Ren Min, and Zhou You in the lead roles. It will tell the story of Hua Zhen (Li Xian), a son of a wealthy family who wishes to join the navy and become a captain. But after a trip to Shanghai, he meets two communist party members who change his whole perspective towards life. To join their mission, Hua Zhen changes his name and becomes a low-ranking police officer.
Shooting Stars will be available for streaming throughout the week on Mango TV.
2. Dr. Spring
This historical short C-drama will meet viewers on April 15, 2024. It is an adaptation of the game “Jian Xia Qing Yuan.” The drama will feature Wu Ji Feng and Roada Xu in the lead roles. The drama will tell the story of two people who accidentally get their lives entangled after a strange turn of events.

3. Best Choice Ever (Ep 15-28)
This ongoing modern C-drama will release a total of 14 episodes this week. It features prominent actors Yang Zi and Xu Kai in the lead roles. The drama tells the story of Mai Cheng Huan (Yang Zi), whose boyfriend dumps her after she pressurizes him for marriage following her mother’s advice. Mai is torn between taking control of her life and obeying her mother’s decisions. Meanwhile, amidst all the confusion, she meets her step-grandmother’s grandson, Yao Zhi Ming (Xu Kai).

4. Blossoms in Adversity (Ep 23-29)
This historical romance C-drama tells the story of Hua Zhi (Zhang Jing Yi), who has hidden powers. When her family gets into trouble, she reveals her powers to save them. This leads to her gaining a bad reputation and everyone fearing her. But she eventually falls in love with someone ready to give her lifelong commitment. Furthermore, she also makes a name for herself in the business world.

5. Addicted to Love
This C-drama will premiere on April 16, 2024. It features Xia Zhi Yuan and Cao Ming Yue in the lead roles. The original broadcasting network of this drama is Tencent Video.
Other than these, Youku’s Live Surgery Room will release its final episode on April 19, 2024. Sacrifice for Love will end its run on April 17, 2024.
