Celebrity is a Korean mystery thriller drama starring Park Gyu-Young in the lead. It shows the downside of social media usage. It delves into fame, power, and greed. Directed by Kim Chul-Gyu and penned by Kim Yi-Young, the story revolves around a young woman, Seo Ah-Ri. She wants to make a place in the scandalous world of influencers in Seoul.

Celebrity K-drama: Is it a happy or a sad ending?
Spoilers ahead. Seo Ah-Ri was born into an affluent family, but she slowly becomes poor after her father loses his job. She then starts being a saleswoman. However, her fashion sense and knowledge about beauty products make her out-of-the-box. Even though she never cared about the scandals of celebrities, with time, she gets involved in the world of social media influencers. She hustles and tries to become the next hot thing. But somehow she gets dragged into the fame, money, greed, and scandalous incidents. Throughout the whole series, a love story blooms between Ah-Ri and Han Joon-Kyung (Kang Min-Hyuk). They finally get reunited by the end of the drama, Celebrity.
Shi-Hyun (Lee Chung-Ah) musters up her courage to divorce her husband, whom she married, to make her family happy. But when she sees that he will do anything to keep his image appropriate, she decides to leave him. On the other hand, Joon-Kyun strikes a deal with Tae-jeon’s lawyer, Ahn. In the meantime, Oh Min-hye (Jeon Hyo-Sung) and her husband run away from everything. Angela traded her body for money through livestream. Her husband finds out about it.
On the other hand, Chae-Hee (Han Jae-In) gets arrested for the drug scheme. The drama almost gives all the answers to the hanging questions of the viewers. By the end of the drama, Celebrity, Seo Ah-Ri goes back to her influencer lifestyle. The creators kept an open ending to the drama. Lee Jun-Ho makes a special appearance by the end of it, leaving the viewers with questions regarding what’s next. Is Jun-Ho going to appoint Ah-Ri as his dress designer now that she has a clean slate? Or he is there to give her a break for a series or a show. Well, whatever it is, Ah-Ri can now lead a happy and peaceful life as a Celebrity.

Viewers loved Park Gyu-Young as Seo Ah-Ri. She made the character look too real. Other actors have also given their best performances. There are many special cameos given by South Korean actors. Celebrity portrayed the inner politics, the drama, and the scandals beautifully and showed how a woman single-handedly fights for her position.
