No, CinemaCon’s Deadpool & Wolverine footage has not leaked online.
Marvel had a huge presence at CinemaCon 2024, revealing new scenes from Captain America: Brave New World and nine minutes of Deadpool & Wolverine footage. The trailers were only meant for fans present in the audience and weren’t released online for the world to watch.
But since similar exclusive trailers/clips from past Comic-Cons and other fan events have been leaked online, fans have been looking for the leaked Deadpool 3 CinemaCon trailer as well. But it isn’t available online yet. Only the description of what was shown at CinemaCon 2024 has made its way to the internet.
What happened in the Deadpool & Wolverine CinemaCon footage?
The Deadpool & Wolverine CinemaCon footage revealed Wade Wilson’s life post-Deadpool 2 and teased his new multiversal adventures with Logan.
In the clip, Wade Wilson has retired from superhero duties and sells cars along with Peter now. Following that, a different scene shows him and Peter riding bikes. As they move back to his apartment, everyone surprises Wade with a birthday party, just as shown in the first Deadpool teaser.
Wade makes a bunch of jokes involving everyone at the party until the TVA’s minutemen knock on the door. They open a portal and Wade is pulled into the TVA. Next, he talks to Paradox who explains how the TVA operates. He asks if he has been apprehended because of what he did with Cable’s device, but Paradox denies that.
Instead, Paradox then explains that he believes that Wade can save the entire timeline. He shows Wade snippets of Captain America, Thor, and Loki from past MCU movies and believes that Wade could finally leave his timeline and become a savior figure. Hearing that, Deadpool calls himself “Marvel Jesus” and then gets a new Deadpool suit along with adamantium katanas.
Lastly, the footage shows a scene of Deadpool and Wolverine riding together, with the former mocking the latter about his yellow and blue suit by calling him a Los Angeles Rams player.
It’s unlikely that all of the CinemaCon footage will make its way online. But as we are nearing the film’s release on July 28, 2024, fans can expect a new official trailer to be released sometime in May featuring some of this footage.
