The upcoming modern C-drama Will Love in Spring is all set to premiere on April 22, 2024. It features Li Xian and Zhou Yu Tong in the lead roles. The much-anticipated drama tells the story of Zhuang Jie (Zhou Yu Tong), a successful medical salesperson who lives in the city. After enduring setbacks in her personal life and career, she moves to her hometown, Nanping. There, Zhuang Jie meets a handsome funeral makeup artist named Chen Mai Dong (Li Xian).
Chen Mai Dong was rebellious and quite the ladies’ man when he was younger. But as he grew older, he became lonely. Mai Dong’s grandmother and Zhuang Jie’s mother want them to date and set them up on a blind date.

At first, Chen Mai Dong and Zhuang Jie get off on the wrong foot, but they slowly and steadily develop a strong bond. They soon realize that they have more in common than they realize.
They help each other fight their personal demons. In reality, Zhuang Jie was fired from her job. But she lied to her mother. She was also left disabled after getting into an accident. Meanwhile, Chen Mai Dong tries to maintain a charming personality. But he feels all alone now that he is in his 30s. He does not like his current job, and to top it off, he is very sloppy at it. The only person who gets him is his grandmother.
Apart from the lead actors, Will Love in Spring also features Wu Jun Ting, Zhang Xi Wei, Sun Yan Xiang, and Xiao Yang in pivotal roles. Liang Cheng is the director of the drama, and Even Jian is the screenwriter. The drama is an adaptation of the web novel “Qing Ren” by She Mu Si.
Will Love in Spring will release 21 episodes, which will be available for streaming on Tencent Video and CCTV-8.
