Netflix has dropped two new Bridgerton Season 3 photos from the upcoming return of the hit romance drama based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling book series.
The photos provided fans with the first look at Sam Phillips’ debut as Lord Debling, who is expected to become one of Penelope Featherington’s love interests in the new installment now be led by Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton.
When is the release date for Bridgerton Season 3?
Bridgerton Season 3 will be divided into two parts, with the first half set to debut on May 16 and the second half to premiere on June 13. The series also stars Golda Rosheuvel, Jonathan Bailey, Claudia Jessie, Ruby Barker, Sabrina Bartlett, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh, Polly Walker, Bessie Carter, Simone Ashley, and Harriet Cains, with Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown. Season 3 will also feature new cast members Daniel Francis (Stay Close) as Marcus Anderson, Sam Phillips (The Crown) as Lord Debling, and James Phoon (Wreck) as Harry Dankworth.
“Season 3 finds Penelope Featherington has finally given up on her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton after hearing his disparaging words about her last season. She has, however, decided it’s time to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, far away from her mother and sisters,” reads the official synopsis. “But lacking in confidence, Penelope’s attempts on the marriage mart fail spectacularly.
