The ongoing Xianxia C-drama The Legend of Shen Li released episode 30 on April 3, 2024. It features Lin Gengxin and Zhao Liying in the main roles. The episode primarily focuses on Xing Zhi (Lin Gengxin) and Shen Li (Zhao Liying) confessing their love and admiration for one another. The serpent demon, Ms. Jin, heals Shen Li’s wounds. Jin tells Shen Li that treating her completely will take another eight days. She promises to risk her own life to save Shen Li.
Shen Li asks Jin why the azure pearl’s power clashes with her spiritual powers when she was born with it in her mouth. From her words, Jin recognizes Shen Li as Lord Bicang of the immortal realm. Jin has a theory that the techniques Shen Li learned later clash with the pearl.
Meanwhile, Xing Zhi brings Shen Li’s broken spear to Jin so she can fix it. Jin finds it amusing that Xing Zhi is so infatuated with someone. But she tells Xing Zhi that it can only be forged in the extra-natural heaven that is filled with spiritual powers.

Jin teases Xing Zhi by telling Shen Li that she wants to find a husband for her. As a reply, Xing Zhi keeps sending threatening charms her way. Days go by as Jin continues to treat Shen Li. She asks if she has noticed that the burning power inside her is not divine energy. Jin thinks that the source of that power is the azure sea pearl. It is more like a demon’s inner core.
In episode 30 of The Legend of Shen Li, Jin asks Shen Li if she knows about her true origin. Shen Li only knows that she was born on the battlefield. Jin feels like Xing Zhi hides a lot of things from Shen Li. She asks her to question him after getting better.
On the last day of the treatment, Fu Sheng’s pursuers attack Shen Li’s hideout. Jin asks Shen Li not to meddle with them and goes out alone to fight the army. She bravely fights Mo Fang and his army and single-handedly takes them down. Meanwhile, the pursuer, Xing Zhi, took down previously, sneaks inside and attacks Shen Li.
Jin puts Shen Li and Xing Zhi inside a sealed land. She tells them that she can’t let them out as she spent thousands of years building the seal, which only allows entry. To break free, they will have to reach the core’s formation.
Meanwhile, Fu Sheng has still not given up. He knows that Xing Zhi got injured previously, and Shen Li is almost crippled. He wants to use the opportunity to finish her off.
Shen Li and Xing Zhi reach the land of the snakes. They perform a ritual that will help them to get out of the seal. Shen Li hears a strange voice telling her that Xing Zhi has a wound on his back while freezing in the East Sea. She realizes how much Xing Zhi loves her. Xing Zhi asks her not to rush. But Shen Li tells him she does not want to hold herself back any longer. The couple express their love and share a soulful kiss.
