As per People Magazine, authorities believe that Alexis Gabe’s ex-boyfriend, 27-year-old Marshall Curtis Jones, murdered her. During the search, investigators discovered only partial remains of her body in Plymouth.
Reports indicate the network chose not to air the episode in spring, disappointing Alexis Gabe’s family. Nevertheless, they persisted. The father of the deceased, Gwyn Gabe, rallied the members of the Facebook page “Justice for Alexis Gabe” to pressure the network to air the episode. They also reached out to the show’s executive producers, and the endeavor was a success.

When was Alexis Gabe last seen alive?
As reported by People Magazine, Alexis Gabe was last seen alive on January 26, 2022. Upon locating her ex-boyfriend Marshall Curtis Jones, authorities found him rushing out with a knife. Subsequently, a sheriff’s deputy and a U.S. marshal shot and killed him.
Gabe’s parents felt disappointed by the death of their daughter’s murderer. At the time of Jones’s death, officials had not yet discovered Alexis’s remains. Gwyn Gabe said, “We wanted to meet with him face-to-face, look him in the eye and ask him, ‘Why? Why would you do this, and where is our daughter?'”
Authorities announced Marshall Curtis Jones dead at the scene. They stated that he had been staying at a home in Kent, Washington, with an associate.
